The figure of the horse is used as a construct for exploring the fine line between glory and obsolescence, human frailty and the mythic. From show horse to caged animal, the horse is complicit in its own destiny.

In a four hour durational performance, the performer approaches the site with no rehearsal. The imperative is to find language and meaning from improvisations with props and costume.

You Still Got The Knack

The action of sweeping with a straw broom oscillates between the mundane, with domestic labour expressed through highly regular, repetitive patterns, and joyous abandon, throwing off the shackles of servitude.
