PORK COLLECTIVE

A multi-disciplinary group of artists and performers who create surreal, irreverent and beatific performance installation work in challenging and site-specific environments.

PORK are known for their whimsical, bent, beatific and sometimes terrifying inhabitation of all manner of sites by an eclectic mix of artists, performers, dancers and musicians. They produce artistic and theatrical works that invite audience into worlds that exist on the borderlines of imagination and reality, where the intimate and perverse, comic and poetic, vie for your hearts and loins. Productions range from the site-specific to gallery, theatre and club environments, incorporating elements of spectacle, intimate encounters, durational, live installations and variety theatre.

Lian Loke is a co-founder and performer.

“Pork are fast becoming fixtures on the arts festival circuit, and have spread the love at the Peats Ridge, Underbelly and Great Escape festivals in recent years. Their open and interactive style works a charm in the summer festival atmosphere, where party-goers are willing to get involved and have fun.”
